WE10 - Exhibiting: How to Effectively Represent Your Products

Exhibiting at tradeshows is the life blood of conventions, regional meetings, and local gatherings.  However, exhibiting is more than showing up, setting up a booth, and giving away swag.  This program will explore the most effective ways of having a successful exhibiting experience.  Understand how to set up a booth, how to position yourself, and how to have an effective conversation with your visitors. A number of questions will be asked and discussed on why you are exhibiting and what it is you wish to accomplish.  Attractive booths, great outfits, and fancy swag are all to the good but rarely help you to connect with attendees and to hear their questions and facilitate understanding of your industry, products, and expertise.  In the end, it is not the number of contacts made but the quality of those contacts.  This program will set the stage for being an effective exhibitor and communicator.

Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to:
•Determine your goals, including why are you exhibiting and what you need to accomplish
•Identify the best booth design and layout to get attendees to engage with you
•Make effective contacts and follow up appropriately
•Listen to attendees; the most important aspect of exhibiting

This session was designed for product reps, however other disciplines are welcome to register and attend.
