WE01 - Discipline Roles & Project Goals: How Do I Fit In?

In this session, the primary roles during the building life-cycle, the Owner, Architect, Contractor, Consultants and Reps, will be identified according to the contracts and contract documents, complete with what their objectives are throughout the stages of the building from concept through commissioning and operation.  The product representative will be able to identify and recognize their role and responsibilities throughout the stages of the project.
 
Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to:
• Define the primary roles of Owner, Architect, Contractor, Consultants and Product Representatives
• Recognize the primary objectives of the Owner, Architect, Contractor, Consultants and Product Representatives
• Identify how roles change through the life cycle stages of the building project
• Demonstrate appropriate communication chain and best practices to maintain a good relationship with all parties involved
